I now have a traveling companion for my race this weekend! Big Ring decided he would go to the race too seeing as Chris and Elsa are already at Jeannie's (his MIL) which is on the way to the race. So tomorrow around noon we'll leave Ottawa and arrive in Bobcaygeon late afternoon. Apparently we'll be well fed and then after a couple of hours of visiting, we'll arrive at Matt's place.
Sunday is race day. Weather looks chilly! And its supposed to rain the day before. Hope the course isn't too wet. As usual I mildly agonized over my tire selection, finally deciding I would go with my new karma's. Anyone know a good light race tire for wet, muddy conditions? Yeah, didn't think so...
See ya back here on Monday. I hope to have a race report up by then with lots of good news (great conditions! balmy weather! peppy legs! etc). Have a good long weekend.

Depending on how technical the course it, you could use 'cross tires if it were just muddy, but little else of concern.
Oh wait, you're running those cute, little tiny wheels. =P
